At first, I was scared and overwhelmed by the stories I heard, until I met Stephanie—a calm, fiery mom who reminded me we can do this together. Now, two years later, we’ve teamed up—she’s leading change across Florida, and my goal is to bring more before- and after-school programs into our public schools so kids like Tommy and families like ours get the support they need.
